Announcement: I’ve put up some videos to help people practice at home. One is the warm up sequence we go through at the beginning of class each week and the other is the first form that we all need to learn. Check them out. Even a few minutes a day of practice will bring huge results over time.

We are holding in person classes! We’ll have classes for four different groups on Tuesdays. The groups and times are:
  • Kids 1 – 3:30 till 4:25
  • Kids 2 – 4:30 till 5:25
  • Teens – 5:40 till 6:35
  • Adults – 9:00 till 10:00

Classes will be once a week (Tuesday) and cost $25 per month for the first student and $20 per month for each additional student per household.

At Flowing River Martial Arts, our goal is becoming better.

We practice concepts that embrace tools and techniques found in arts such as Hapkido, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Karate, Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts that have proven effective in defending against varied attacks and scenarios.

Principle based training

Instead of focusing on a particular art, we focus on the principles to be learned from the different moves and techniques and practice many skills that truly teach us those foundational principles.

We teach a way to live that follows the path of peace. Peace comes from inside where an individual has come to a place where he is in control of himself.

Each person learns to control himself, and by this, learns to control others or the situation.

Our goal is to help people become a better version of themselves. We work on building personal traits such as respect, focus, discipline, patience, etc.
